Template Variables

Overview

Templates are files that define the content of your stack. You can have any number of templates in your stack. They’re specified in the Info.plist Templates Dictionary. The template variables listed below will be replaced in each template.

Basic

• Plain Text Container — The content of an HTML stack.
• Image Container — The content of an Image stack.
• Markdown Text Container — The content of an Markdown stack.
• Stack Container — A container for other stacks.
• Styled Text Container — The content of an Text stack.




Expressions and conditionals

• Integer Comparison — String comparison operations.
• Conditional — Conditional content based a property value.
• Conditional Display — Enable content only for Edit, Preview, or Publish.
• Integer Math — Simple math operations.
• String Comparison — String comparison operations.




Page

• Page Filename — The filename of the page index HTML.
• Page Navigation Title — The navigation title of the page.
• Page Path — The absolute path to the current page.
• Page Title — The title of the page.
• Page Unique ID — The RapidWeaver internal page ID.




Paths

• Asset Path — The path to exported assets
• Base URL — The base URL of the site.
• CSS Path — The path to Stacks page CSS file.
• Javascript Path — The path to Stacks page Javascript file.
• Php Path — The path to Stacks page Php file.
• RapidWeaver Asset Path — The path to exported RapidWeaver assets
• Relative Site Root Path — The relative path to site root.
• Relative Site Asset Path — The relative path to site assets.
• Site Asset Path — The path to assets shared site-wide




Properties and controls

• Stacks API Version — The version number of the Stacks API
• Color Values — Output of a color control.
• Container ID — The ID container of the current stack.
• Date Values — Output of a date control.
• Stack Instance ID — The ID of the current stack.
• Inner ID — The ID inner div of the current stack.
• Link Property Value — The output of link controls.
• macOS Major Version — The major (first) component of the macOS version
• macOS Minor Version — The minor (second) component of the macOS version
• macOS Patch Version — The patch (third) component of the macOS version
• macOS Version — The version number of macOS
• macOS Version As Integer — The version number of macOS as an integer
• Middle ID — The ID middle (mezzanine) div of the current stack.
• Outer ID — The ID outer div of the current stack.
• Parent ID — The ID parent stack of the current stack.
• RapidWeaver Build — The build number of RapidWeaver
• RapidWeaver Version — The version number of the stack
• Stack Build — The build number of the stack
• Stack Class — The class added to a stack
• Stack Group — The first tag of the stack.
• Stack Title — The title of the stack
• Stack Version — The version number of the stack
• Stacks Build — The build number of Stacks
• Hidden Responsive — Responsive user controls for hiding stacks.
• Stacks Version — The version number of the Stacks
• Property Value — Property values from controls.
